HSBC’s sponsorship of the UCI Road Worlds Championship was brought to the public’s attention through a campaign, ‘Let’s Ride’, which utilised bespoke cycling illustrations and an HSBC manifesto. The campaign took the form of print and digital advertising. Harrogate rail station was taken over with the campaign to welcome visitors to the event and alert them to HSBC’s commitment and funding of the event. The race route was heavily branded and included a race landmark bridge, which featured the bespoke campaign illustration, for both national and international TV coverage.
